The 2025-26 School year aligns with the 2025-26 USA competitive season (commonly referred to as the “2026 Season”). Get started today on your team and use Summer to get ahead of the competition!

2025-26 US Regional Finals
The virtual Regional Finals take place in Early Decemeber and serve as a qualifier for the 2026 National Finals.
When: Early December (Turn In: Dec. 3rd, Awards: Dec. 13)
Teams will submit Project Elements for virtual judging by December 3rd by mailing in a car for racing and digitally submitting Portfolios, Drawings and Verbal Presentation by 11:00pm EST.
The Racing Session and Awards Ceremony will premiere on Saturday afternoon, December 13th to annouce winners! No interviews will take place.

Expected Costs
The budget per student team varies greatly from team to team. An estimated budget for the 2023/24 season is shown below (this is an example only based on previous competitors’ budgets and not set amounts; teams should create their own budget based on their needs). Student teams typically fundraise their entire budget via sponsorships, in-kind donations, and/or fundraisers.
