2026-2027 Competitions
The 2026-27 School year aligns with the 2026-27 USA competitive season (commonly referred to as the “2027 Season”). Get started today on your team and use Summer to get ahead of the competition!
2026-27 US Regional Finals
The virtual Regional Finals take place in Early Decemeber and serve as a qualifier for the 2027 National Finals.
When: Early December (Car Submission: Nov. 25th, Project Elements Submission: Dec. 2nd, Awards: Dec. 12th)
Teams will submit Project Elements for virtual judging by mailing in a car by November 25th for racing and digitally submitting Portfolios, Drawings and Verbal Presentation by December 2nd at 11:00pm EST.
The Racing Session and Awards Ceremony will premiere on Saturday afternoon, December 12th to annouce winners! No interviews will take place.
Entry Fee: $300 per team

How to Register: Affiliated teams can register Sept 16 - Nov 6th.

Expected Costs
The budget per student team varies greatly from team to team. An estimated budget for the 2025/26 season is shown below (this is an example only based on previous competitors’ budgets and not set amounts; teams should create their own budget based on their needs). Student teams typically fundraise their entire budget via sponsorships, in-kind donations, and/or fundraisers.
